Cattery Information

We are a registered cattery, affiliated with Mundikat, and prefer to place our kittens with enthusiasts. Breeding is prohibited for kittens. In exceptional circumstances, a kitten may move to another cattery. Our cats are thoroughly tested for FIV/FeLV and HCM/PKD before they visit a stud. We then select the right stud for them based on their appearance and temperament.

Our kittens are born in one of our two cat rooms and stay there for the first 3 to 4 weeks. They then move to a lovely, spacious kitten pen in the middle of our living room. This way, they grow up within our family and get used to all the sounds of the house, other cats, children, and visitors. Good socialization is incredibly important to us! From about 8 weeks of age, we remove the kitten pen and the kittens live freely in our living room. Our kittens are dewormed biweekly and receive both their vaccinations (at 9 and 12 weeks of age) and microchipped. All kittens are also spayed/neutered at our own veterinarian. So when you pick up your kitten(s), you won't have to pay any additional costs, not even for spaying or neutering. Because we perform this procedure at our own veterinarian, the kittens don't need surgery later in life and can simply acclimate to their new homes in peace and quiet, in perfect health.

Young kittens recover much faster from such a minor procedure than older kittens. This also helps us safeguard the value of their beautiful pedigree and bloodline, and they will never, for any reason, be used for breeding without permission.

Naturally, they are also house-trained and parasite-free. At 14 weeks of age, they can move to their new owners. They will then receive a lovely kitten package.

their family tree and their European passport.

We don't place our kittens alone. Cats are social animals who enjoy playing together, sleeping together, and grooming each other. A cat raised alone can become lonely and develop separation anxiety or behavioral problems (single kitten syndrome). Two kittens can entertain each other when you're away, reducing the risk of behavioral problems. It's also wonderful for us humans to see multiple cats together. It simply makes you happier! You can register with us for two kittens or for one if you already have one or more cats or plan to get one within six months. Of course, it doesn't necessarily have to be one of our cats. We're happy to work with you, the new owner, to find the kitten that best suits you. When you reserve a kitten, we require a deposit. Once our kitten is living with its new owner, we're always there for you. If you have any questions or need advice, I'm always available! We also sometimes rehome our adult (spayed) cats. We don't advocate breeding the same cat indefinitely, so we stop after 3 or 4 litters from the same cat. Ideally, we'd like to keep all our cats forever; they are truly part of our family, and we love them. But that would mean we'd have more and more cats at home, or that our hobby of responsible breeding and contributing to breed preservation would end. Besides, it's also nice for the cat to finally retire and live in a nice, peaceful home with a companion.
